WCM Immersion Fellowship Program

Weekend of Chamber Music offers pre-professional, intensive Chamber Music immersion Fellowships at its annual two-week July Summer Festival in the Catskills. In 2017, from July 15 to 30 CM1 Fellows will have the opportunity to work with the WCM performing artists and Composer-in-Residence, Jesse Jones.

The Immersion program offers up to four pre-professional performers and composers festival residencies, consisting of:
• daily shadowing of the performers and guest composer in rehearsal
• lessons and masterclasses as well as informal discussion with festival artists
• career mentoring and chamber music coaching
• public readings of composers’ works, with composers and performers collaborating on new pieces

Participants will gain first-hand experience of the inner workings of a chamber music festival, from rehearsal to performance and stage management to grant-writing and administration.

For more information contact artisticdirector@wcmconcerts.org.

Weekend of Chamber Music is located in the southern Catskill Mountains northwest of New York City
