JULY 22 at 8:00PM: EDDIE ADAMS FARM
*PRE-CONCERT CHAT AT 7:00PM

The Four Bagatelles of Jesse Jones, funny, dance-inspired and deeply moving, sets in motion a journey through improvisation; our own Melia Watras’s Virgina Woolf-inspired Liquid Voices; the concentrated outpouring of soul that is the Cavatina from Beethoven’s Quartet Op. 130; and culminating in the power and passion of Brahms’ Piano Quartet in A Major, a work in which body and soul, head and heart, are all made one.

"Straight-away the ideas flow in upon me, directly from God, and not only do I see distinct themes in my mind's eye, but they are clothed in the right forms, harmonies, and orchestration."
Johannes Brahms
