A musical exploration of how we define ourselves, culturally, personally and spiritually, Mysteries of Identity brings together a wide range of compositional voices in search of their own expressive “I am”. With music by Bridge, Falla, Hannah Kendall, Janáček, Schumann, Vaughan-Williams, Vierne, and Andrew Waggoner, the program offers a kaleidoscopic view of the ways in which the soul becomes music, giving us a sense of both person and place.
