WCM Artist Coaches & Students Spring Concert
Mark your calendars for an inspiring & energetic young people's concert featuring MHS Chamber Music Students & their Weekend of Chamber Music Artist Coaches. A showcase for the young musicians, the concert is part of the school's unique chamber music program headed by Ann Trombley & Nancy Wegrzyn. In its 9th year, WCM's collaboration with Sullivan schools has produced some very positive results, & it has attracted the attention of 2 additional districts for the 2006-07 school year.
The concert is open to the public. Admission is $10; $5 for parents of MHS music students.
Monticello High School, 39 Breakey Ave., Monticello, NY

May 10 ~ All Day
Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Ugly Duckling” sets the stage for Tri-Valley School’s K-3 and 4-6 graders as WCM Artists perform the story set to Camille Saint-Saens’ “Caprice on Danish Airs.” Singer Annie Hat narrates the famous tale, while WCM Artists flutist Judith Pearce, oboist Matt Sullivan, clarinetist Allen Blustine and pianist Marija Stroke perform the music. The program is designed by Tri-Valley teachers as part of a curriculum to impart the lessons the little fledgling learns about self-acceptance and tolerance. (Not open to the public.)

June 17
Music in the Barn ~ Early Summer Benefit
Always an inspiring and soul-renewing event, the benefit is an important source of fundraising for WCM's school projects and chamber music coaching activity. Tickets disappear as fast as the delectable gourmet meal, served al fresco overlooking the rolling hills of a WCM Patron's country residence.
Reservations are required. Call 845-832-8527
